Duties include organizing and coordinating the daily operation of Nutrition Sites for seniors 60 and over. Work includes coordinating positioncoverage/fulfillment. This position ensures proper records of meals served are maintained, the Division of Aging and Adult Services registration forms/updates, monthly paperwork review, caterer billing. The employee ensures all health and food regulations and standards are met. Work also includes maintaining clerical records, checking inventories, and ordering supplies for daily/monthly and overall operations. Employee participates in menu development, contract bids, vendor relations/trouble-shooting, site inspections/projects/operating, community engagement, community partnerships/municipalities, updates seeking out & development of grants/donors, route volunteer management/site volunteer management. This position is responsible for site activity development, including planning, coordinating and/or conducting senior-friendly programs for meal participants. Employee participates in the setup, packaging, serving and delivering meals as needed. Extensive public contact is involved in working with the senior population.Average 19 hours per week - daily schedule may vary. Starting Salary is $15.73 per hour.
