Job Summary :

As a Client Service Associate (CSA) at SAM, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service. You’ll work closely with Wealth Managers, providing support in account administration, onboarding, reporting, and compliance efforts. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, excels at problem-solving, and is eager to contribute in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Partner with Wealth Managers to address client inquiries related to account maintenance, cashiering, online access, and other non-investment-related requests.

Provide responsive, accurate, and courteous support to clients, assist with ad-hoc projects, and offer backup coverage for other CSAs as needed.

Handle client account documentation, including new account openings, transfers, and closures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Support the client onboarding process by coordinating across internal departments (compliance, operations, onboarding, business development, trading) and managing the account setup process.

Assist Wealth Managers in distributing regular reports, such as performance reports, account statements, and tax documents, ensuring timely and accurate delivery according to client preferences.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues, coordinate with custodians and vendors, and ensure efficient service delivery.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, adhering to data privacy and security standards.

Assist in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies, supporting the implementation of compliance-related initiatives.

Develop strong relationships with clients by demonstrating a proactive and attentive approach, anticipating needs, and providing personalized support.

Guide clients through online platforms and tools related to their accounts, serving as a resource for client inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • SIE is required and knowledge of the industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Three to five years’ experience in a client service or administrative role within financial services, preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor or wealth management firm.
  • Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, client management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical client solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
