JOB SUMMARY
Stansberry Asset Management is a boutique wealth management firm specializing in providing personalized financial planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families. As a Wealth Manager, your role involves understanding clients' financial goals, developing personalized strategies, and providing comprehensive guidance to help them achieve long-term financial success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough financial assessments for clients, analyzing income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Collaborate with clients to establish clear financial goals and objectives.
- Develop customized financial plans that encompass investment management, possible tax concerns and/or savings, estate planning, and risk management.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and expertise to less senior team members when faced with complicated financial planning situations.
- Provide strategic recommendations aligned with clients' financial aspirations.
- Offer expert advice on investment opportunities and design investment portfolios tailored to clients' risk tolerance and financial objectives.
- Develop tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities and enhance overall financial outcomes.
- Identify estate planning needs, including wills and trusts, directing clients to the appropriate professional(s) where needed.
- Assess potential risks associated with clients' financial situations and recommend risk mitigation strategies, including insurance solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and understanding of their evolving needs.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support, adapting financial plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; and industry certification - Series 65 required.
- Must have a CFP or in progress of obtaining your CFP.
- 7 to 10 years or more of relevant experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex client portfolios and maintaining high-net-worth client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment strategies, tax regulations, and estate planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with high-net-worth clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
