Stansell is seeking a talented Project Coordinator in the Tampa region to join our team!
Stansell is a rapidly growing, WBE certified, general contractor specializing in commercial construction services across the Southeast United States. We focus on serving clients in the commercial market with emphasis on the following project types: restaurant dining and quick service food. The ideal candidate for this role is a career-minded individual with a customer service focus, has high energy, and is detail oriented. This candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Research municipalities to submit and monitor permits and inspections
- Upon request provide Purchase Orders for PM
- Set up job files and folders for each new job in Procore using client folder templates
- Renew municipality licenses
- Assist PM with uploading daily logs into Procore
- Input contracts and change orders into Sage
- Ensure all permits are submitted and picked up by responsible party
- Ensure each Superintendent has the tools it needs to meet the project milestones.
- Providing information and regular support to Project Manager
- Research vendors obtain quotes and work alongside of finance for payment process.
- Thorough project documentation
- Creating and reviewing of reports (project tracking and accounting)
- Work with Field personnel to handle project issues as they arise
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 2 years construction coordination experience
- Experience with commercial construction permitting
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software, Procore, PlanGrid, and Smartsheet
- Excellence with organizational and communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to support multiple projects at once
- Experience with Sage 100 Contractor and Paperless preferred
- Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook.
