Stansell is seeking a talented Senior Accountant in our Odessa, FL office to join our team!
We are a General Contractor specializing in commercial construction in the restaurant & retail industry across 20 states with many global brand partnerships and within a culture of Customer Focused Construction. The Project Coordinator position is a full-time position and will contribute with well-rounded construction experience to our team.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the accounting functions of the company to include financial reporting, job costing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work closely with project managers and senior management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- All aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Supervise and manage AP.
- Analyze financial reports.
- Maintain compliance with US GAAP.
- Assist with documentation preparation for annual audits.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Monthly and quarterly general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage billings (draws).
- Financial analysis as requested.
- Assist in payroll review.
- Prepare sales tax filings.
- Create AIA contracts using AIA subscription software.
- Annual 1099 reporting.
- Various miscellaneous projects as requested.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Public Accounting experience with auditing is a plus.
- CPA a plus.
- 2 years of construction industry experience.
- Sage Intacct and Procore experience a plus.
- Excellent MS Office Skills (especially Excel proficiency).
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction.
- Proven attention to detail, accuracy and documentation of work.
- Self-motivated with a preference for working in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with others, internally and externally.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, work ethic, and teambuilding skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work with multiple software programs.
