Stantec is seeking a Coastal Intern to join our rapidly growing team based out of our Corpus Christi or Austin, Texas offices. As a leader in the coastal engineering industry, Stantec offers a wealth of expertise and a dynamic team environment. Our Coastal Engineering Team is at the forefront of a wide variety of coastal projects across the Gulf, making this an exciting time to join us.
At Stantec, we are committed to meeting our clients' needs while fostering growth and development opportunities for our staff. As a team member, you will have the chance to contribute to multiple facets of coastal engineering and develop experience in at least one of the following areas :
- Coastal Processes, Hydrodynamics and Morphology
- Plan, Analyze and Design Coastal Structures, Nature Based Solutions, Dredging, Beach and Marsh Nourishment Projects
- Design and Analysis of Shoreline Erosion Protection and Wetland Protection and Restoration
- Boat Ramps, Piers, and Seawall Design
- Coastal Management, Environmental Restoration, and Shoreline Enhancement
- Storm Risk Reduction Evaluation and Design
- Construction Management for Coastal Projects
Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken civil / ocean engineering courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support several exciting local and national projects.
