Your Opportunity
We are looking for an intermediate level marine scientist who has marine mammal expertise with specific experience in impact assessment and monitoring for underwater noise, vessel strike risk, incidental take, and distance sampling design and analysis. Candidates should be team players, self-motivated, good at multitasking, demonstrated leaders with mentoring experience, and able to think creatively and broadly across many disciplines within the marine sciences. Successful candidates will work in a team environment on environmental impact assessments, field survey design and analysis, environmental effects mitigation and monitoring programs, and permitting applications.
Office location in the US is negotiable.
Your Key Responsibilities
Opportunities exist to integrate into our marine service area at a local, national, and international level, and may include :
- Work in offshore renewables, coastal resilience, oil and gas, ports and shipping, and marine science research projects.
- Tasks may include conducting or planning field work, data analysis, report and proposal writing and reviewing, preparing and delivering presentations, and business development.
