Your Opportunity
Our Chicago office is seeking a Business Center Practice Leader (BCPL) to lead the practice functions including top-line strategy and performance, design and project delivery excellence, business planning, market position, and innovation strategies.
Our Chicago team stands as a leader in our Buildings practice in design and market presence. Our portfolio spans Workplace, Healthcare, Hospitality, Civic / DOD, Retail, Higher Ed, and Residential.
This position reports to the Regional Business Leader (RBL) and provides leadership to the Principal Market Leaders. The BCPL partners with the BC Operations Leader (BCOL) and the broader principal-led leadership team to lead and manage, inspire and engagement, win and do work - building a culturally strong and high performing business.

Think strategically about current and emerging trends or issues and lead in implementing actions to proactively address market, business, regulatory and / or economic issues. Align market trends and client / business needs through thought leadership.

Salary Range(s) :
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Benefits Summary : Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term / long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary / casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
