Your Opportunity
Stantec has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer. As a licensed professional engineer, you will provide comprehensive services to Stantec clients from field explorations to the design and construction management of complex geotechnical structures. You will provide specialized services such as analysis and design of foundation elements, dam and levee structures, and seismic remediation design.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conducts analyses and calculations and performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
- May perform field work related to geotechnical explorations and / or construction-related activities.
- Assists Project Technical Leads and Project Managers in preparing designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports.
- Manage and lead other team members while working on projects, complete tasks and delegate specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate.
- Assists in providing g support services during construction that may include; submittal reviews, responses to requests for information, and contract document clarifications.
- Assist in the development of new standards and specifications for the discipline.
- Prepare portions of engineering project proposals, change orders, client contact, and communications pertaining to specific projects.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
