Your Key Responsibilities
- Our Urban Planning Intern must be eager to learn all facets of planning and development and be willing to help our professional team bring projects from concept to deliverable; this includes everything in between.
- Knowledge of local planning processes and codes, land development activities, site design considerations, and equity indicators are a plus.
- Must be comfortable working with clients and members of the community / public in a variety of settings from formal public hearings to listening sessions.
- The candidate must have exceptional writing skills and be savvy with emerging technology to engage the public, including developing and maintaining project websites, online survey platforms, etc.

Education and Experience
Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required (add in expected travel %), such as delivering plans or documents to reviewing agencies or clients or to attend meetings. May occasionally visit study areas, construction sites and / or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.
