Stanton is currently seeking a Product Development Coordinator to join our Woodbury NY team. The Product Development Coordinator will act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution of product development initiatives. The Product Development Coordinator will report directly to our Senior Director of Product and Innovation.
Responsibilities Include:
Day-to-day operations support for the Product Development team. Support tasks include but are not limited to creating PowerPoint presentations, preparing for weekly meetings, proofreading content, scheduling product testing, requesting photography, etc.
Collaborate with internal teams such as National Accounts, Marketing, and Merchandising, to track project milestones, deliverables, samples, and follow-up with suppliers.
Ensure style details are properly documented and relayed to the suppliers and are in line with vendor capabilities and requirements.
Regular communication with suppliers to proactively manage issues and minimize disruptions to the business.
Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, specifications, schedules, data sheets, and progress reports.
Work closely with the operations team to communicate product information related to labeling, SKU setup, purchase order placement, and sample requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
3 years of professional experience and at least 1 year in product management (or another role with relevant skills).
4-year college degree or equivalent.
Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about interior trends and home furnishing designs
Ability to prioritize, excellent organization and communication skills.
Organized, detail oriented, resourceful.
