What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sample Dept - Sample Customer Service position at Stanton Carpet?
Job Duties:
Entering of Sample Orders on the AS400 placed by customers via the phone, email, or fax following policies established by the organization.
Researching and responding to sample inventory requests.
Researching and responding to sample shipment status requests and tracking of sample shipments via small package and common carrier.
Assist with working reports, pulling labels from stock, and any other special projects as required to support the Sample Department and Shipping operations.
Assist Sales with Sample issues.
Help release and manage sample orders.
Qualifications:
Good oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively and pleasantly with customers and with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Ability to type quickly and accurately while speaking with customers on the phone.
Ability to navigate and organize emails using MS Outlook.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to schedule and prioritize work, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions before they occur.
Extreme attention to detail and timely follow-up required to ensure success.
Some experience with MS Office is a plus.
