Air Filter Technician

Position Summary

STAR AIR is looking for a Filter Install Technician to be responsible for installing air filters in commercial buildings and on top of buildings. Duties will include pulling filter stock for delivery and in some cases making filters prior to leaving for that days route. Star Air has various routes from Waco to San Antonio so there is some driving and climbing ladders involved. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be able to lift 40 lbs. and have a clean driving and background record. This role is our entry way to become an HVAC technician, Sales, and a wide array of other positions that are needed to run a successful air conditioning company. Objectives:

• Maximize opportunities by communicating issues with our customers equipment to reduce problems with their HVAC systems with a training person initially until you can do it by yourself.
• Manage inventory and route efficiency using our company CRM
• Meet daily KPI's and monthly/quarterly performance Targets.
• Be a contributing member of the Team in revenue, culture, and brand image.
• Communicate Star Air value proposition to all business owners.

Education & Experience:

• GED or high school diploma preferred
• 1-2 years’ work experience
• Strong presentation skills

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting and driving, lifting boxes up to 40 lbs.
• This position will require climbing ladders and going on top of buildings.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
