We are seeking an organized and proactive Delivery Coordinator to manage and oversee the logistics of delivering products to customers. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, tracking, and timely delivery of orders while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with delivery teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
Hourly Rate: $28
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Work with logistics providers, carriers, and transportation teams to schedule and track shipments
- Monitor the status of deliveries, resolving any issues such as delays, damages, or missing items
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or any other delivery-related concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including shipment tracking numbers, delivery times, and customer details
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure products are ready for delivery and loaded on time
- Track and report on delivery performance metrics, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and timely delivery
- Resolve delivery discrepancies or issues by investigating and coordinating with vendors or internal teams
- Provide regular updates to management on delivery status and any challenges encountered
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for delivery processes
- Assist in managing delivery schedules, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet deadlines
- Support the returns process by coordinating the pickup and return of products when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
- Previous experience in delivery coordination, logistics, or supply chain management is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries and prioritize tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and customer-focused manner
- Proficiency in using logistics and tracking software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation and delivery operations
