Delivery Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Delivery Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the delivery process, ensuring that shipments are prepared, dispatched, and delivered to customers on time and in excellent condition. Your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills will be crucial in ensuring a seamless delivery experience for our customers.

Hourly Rate: $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, potential delays, and any changes in delivery plans
• Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure smooth execution of deliveries
• Track and monitor delivery progress, providing updates to customers and internal teams as needed
• Address and resolve any delivery-related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally
• Ensure that all delivery documentation is accurate and complete, including tracking information and delivery receipts
• Manage the preparation and packaging of products to ensure they are ready for transport and arrive in good condition
• Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Maintain and update delivery records, ensuring they are accurate and stored properly
• Provide support to other departments, including inventory and order processing, to optimize overall operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage delivery schedules efficiently
• Basic computer skills to track and manage delivery data
• Problem-solving skills to handle any delivery issues or delays
• Previous experience in logistics, delivery coordination, or similar roles preferred
