We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Email Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. In this role, you will assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns designed to engage customers and drive conversions. You will support the team in managing email lists, analyzing campaign performance, and optimizing email content to improve engagement. Your passion for email marketing, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively will be key in helping our team achieve its marketing objectives.
Hourly Rate: $30–$32 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Execution:
Assist in planning, designing, and sending email campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and drip emails.Audience Segmentation:
Help manage and segment email lists to ensure campaigns reach the most relevant audiences.Content Creation:
Work with the marketing team to create engaging email content, including subject lines, body copy, and CTAs (calls to action), that align with the brand's voice and objectives.A/B Testing:
Assist in conducting A/B tests on subject lines, email copy, layouts, and images to optimize email performance and improve open and click-through rates.Campaign Analysis and Reporting:
Track and report on the performance of email campaigns (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.), providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Email List Management:
Help manage and clean email lists to ensure they are up-to-date, compliant with privacy laws (such as GDPR), and free from invalid or bounced emails.Automation and Workflow Support:
Assist in setting up and maintaining automated email workflows, such as welcome emails, re-engagement emails, and abandoned cart sequences.Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, content, sales) to ensure email campaigns align with broader marketing strategies and product launches.Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure email campaigns comply with best practices for email deliverability, legal requirements, and industry standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and analyze key performance metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with A/B testing and email list segmentation is a plus.
- A creative mindset and willingness to contribute ideas for improving email marketing strategies.
