We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Auditor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records within our warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular audits, verifying inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and working closely with the warehouse team to maintain accurate stock counts. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential to supporting smooth operations and preventing inventory issues.
Hourly Rate: $28
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory audits to verify the accuracy of stock levels, including cycle counts and full inventory audits
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock counts and system records, investigating the root causes of variances
- Document and report inventory findings, providing insights and recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure proper inventory handling, storage, and organization
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures and best practices
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock for potential adjustments
- Update inventory management systems to reflect accurate stock counts, locations, and statuses
- Review receiving, shipping, and storage practices to identify any issues that could lead to inventory discrepancies
- Provide regular reports to management on inventory audit results, discrepancies, and actions taken to correct them
- Assist in training warehouse staff on inventory control processes and procedures
- Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely restocking and proper inventory levels
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics is a plus
- Proven experience in inventory auditing, warehouse management, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory data
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve inventory accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and report findings to management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
