Logistics Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. Your data-driven approach and problem-solving skills will help enhance overall logistics performance, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines.

Hourly Rate: $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve delivery times
• Monitor and track key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of current processes
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Prepare and present reports on logistics trends, performance, and cost-saving recommendations
• Assist in the planning and forecasting of inventory and shipment requirements
• Provide support in evaluating new logistics technologies or systems to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure inventory levels align with demand
• Troubleshoot any issues in the supply chain and work to resolve them in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or a related role preferred
