Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods throughout the supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal inventory management. Your ability to manage logistics operations efficiently and communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams will be essential to the success of our operations.

Hourly Rate: $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Work closely with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure efficient flow of products.
• Track and update the status of shipments, resolving any delays or issues that may arise.
• Manage relationships with transportation carriers, ensuring optimal pricing, scheduling, and service levels.
• Oversee inventory levels, helping with restocking and inventory management to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
• Monitor and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, including tracking data, shipments, and inventory.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to address any shipping or delivery concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field is a plus).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for using logistics and inventory management software.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management is a plus.
