Material Handler

We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and managing materials within the warehouse. Your ability to handle inventory, maintain organized storage, and ensure timely material distribution will be crucial to the smooth operation of our facility.

Hourly Rate: $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Movement: Safely transport materials and products to various locations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflows and minimizing handling time.
• Stock Organization: Organize and maintain material storage areas, ensuring that items are easy to access and securely stored for future use or shipment.
• Inventory Support: Assist in monitoring stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and help restock materials as needed to maintain adequate supply levels.
• Receiving and Sorting: Receive incoming deliveries, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and sort materials in the proper locations.
• Order Preparation: Prepare materials for production, assembly, or shipping by ensuring accurate quantities and proper handling of materials.
• Collaboration: Work with the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations, assist in loading/unloading shipments, and support other departments as needed.
• Safety Standards: Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment to ensure both safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
• Documentation: Record material movement, inventory updates, and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills for tracking material movements and updating inventory systems.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required, while following safety protocols.
• Dependable, team-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
