Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize packages based on destination, size, and delivery method
- Load and unload packages from trucks and storage areas
- Verify package details, including weight, size, and destination information
- Ensure packages are properly labeled, secured, and ready for shipment
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area to facilitate smooth package processing
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies or issues
- Follow safety protocols while handling packages and operating equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in package handling, warehouse operations, or logistics is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and labeling packages
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and warehouse procedures
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Forklift certification is a bonus (training available)
