We are looking for a reliable and motivated Picker Packer/Shipping Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring that products are prepared for shipment efficiently and safely. You will also assist with shipping and inventory tasks to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Hourly Rate: $28
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking: Accurately pick products from inventory based on order specifications, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Product Packing: Pack orders securely and efficiently to ensure that products are protected during transit and meet company standards for packaging.
- Shipping Documentation: Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation to ensure accurate and timely dispatch.
- Inventory Assistance: Support inventory management by organizing stock, assisting with restocking, and reporting low inventory levels.
- Order Accuracy: Double-check all orders to ensure they are complete, accurate, and meet quality standards before being packed and shipped.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage during the picking and packing process, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Work Area Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse and shipping teams to meet daily order fulfillment goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic computer skills for processing orders and managing inventory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, or packing roles is a plus, but not required.
