We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods, ensuring timely shipments, and managing logistics operations to optimize the efficiency of the supply chain.
Hourly Rate: $28
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate shipping and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and the warehouse team to track and manage shipments
- Ensure that all shipping documentation is accurate and completed on time
- Monitor shipping costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses without compromising service quality
- Resolve any shipping or logistics issues by collaborating with relevant teams and external partners
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure the smooth movement of goods through the supply chain
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all shipping and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
