Supply Chain Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, optimizing, and ensuring the efficiency of our supply chain processes. You will collect and analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights that drive improvements in inventory management, purchasing, and logistics. Your work will be key to ensuring smooth operations, reducing costs, and improving overall supply chain performance.

Hourly Rate: $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data related to inventory levels, order fulfillment, demand forecasting, and vendor performance. Prepare regular reports for management that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Supply Chain Optimization:
  Identify areas of improvement within the supply chain, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics. Recommend process changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize lead times.

• Demand Forecasting:
  Work closely with sales and production teams to forecast demand accurately. Use historical data and market trends to predict future product requirements and ensure that inventory levels are aligned with business needs.

• Inventory Management:
  Monitor inventory levels and work with warehouse teams to ensure products are stocked appropriately. Track product movements, prevent stockouts, and manage excess inventory to avoid overstocking.

• Vendor Management:
  Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Analyze vendor performance and develop strategies to enhance supplier relationships and optimize procurement processes.

• Supply Chain Efficiency:
  Assist in developing and implementing strategies to streamline supply chain operations. Identify inefficiencies and work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

• Risk Management:
  Analyze supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential disruptions, such as changes in supplier reliability, transportation delays, or inventory shortages.

• Collaboration:
  Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, finance, etc.) to ensure that supply chain decisions are aligned with business objectives and customer needs. Support cross-functional communication to resolve operational issues and meet deadlines.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay current on industry trends and best practices. Implement new technologies or methodologies that can improve supply chain operations, increase transparency, and enhance overall performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
• Strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends.
