We are looking for an organized and efficient Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of goods, information, and services across the supply chain. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Your attention to detail and ability to streamline processes will be crucial in optimizing supply chain operations.
Hourly Rate: $28
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the flow of goods and materials from suppliers to warehouse or production facilities
- Work with procurement teams to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Track and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory, working with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient storage and delivery
- Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to arrange shipments and ensure on-time deliveries
- Assist with developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in procurement, inventory management, and delivery
- Maintain accurate records of supply chain transactions, including purchase orders, shipment schedules, and invoices
- Resolve supply chain issues or delays by working with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams
- Help manage the supply chain documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and delivery receipts
- Assist in forecasting demand and collaborating with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels
- Coordinate with internal departments (warehouse, production, sales) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any logistical challenges
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across the supply chain
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is a plus
- Proven experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or procurement
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency with supply chain management software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to improve supply chain performance
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle supply chain disruptions quickly and effectively
- Knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
