We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of the supply chain, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers. You will work closely with vendors, suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to maintain inventory levels, optimize processes, and ensure timely deliveries.
Hourly Rate: $28
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and transportation teams to schedule deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock
- Assist in managing and tracking the movement of goods through the supply chain, identifying and addressing any delays or issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities, including orders, shipments, and inventory levels
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, warehouse, and logistics) to ensure alignment and timely fulfillment of customer orders
- Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process and recommend strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Assist with forecasting demand and planning inventory needs based on sales trends and customer requirements
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance, including inventory turnover, delivery times, and supplier performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or inventory management
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems to improve supply chain efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
