We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Shipping and Warehouse Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for packing and preparing products for shipment while ensuring all items are accurately processed and securely packed for delivery. You will also assist with organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse. Hourly Rate: $28
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing Products: Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring that items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure all items in an order are correctly selected, packed, and prepared for shipment, adhering to customer specifications.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary shipping documentation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Inventory Management: Assist with organizing, labeling, and restocking products in the warehouse to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages before packing, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Work Area Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring all packing and shipping areas are clutter-free and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily packing and shipping goals, ensuring the smooth flow of orders from the warehouse to customers.
- Shipping Assistance: Help in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring products are properly stored and ready for dispatch.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and product quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic computer skills to process orders and track shipments.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Previous experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse roles is a plus, but not required.
