We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Assistant to support our shipping operations. In this role, you will assist with packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time. Your organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial in helping maintain efficient warehouse operations and meeting customer expectations.
Hourly Rate: $28
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with picking, packing, and labeling products for shipment according to customer orders
- Ensure all packages are securely packed to prevent damage during transit
- Verify order accuracy, including checking product types, quantities, and shipping information before dispatching
- Help maintain organized shipping areas, ensuring materials and packaging supplies are stocked and accessible
- Update order management systems with accurate shipping details and tracking information
- Assist with coordinating outgoing shipments with carriers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
- Support inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and helping with restocking items
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in all shipping processes and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipping, such as missing items or incorrect shipments
- Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed, including receiving, sorting, and storing incoming goods
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or logistics is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders
- Ability to lift and move packages safely and efficiently
- Basic computer skills for updating order management systems
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with other teams
