Responsibilities
- Screening patients during check-ups
- Reviewing patient's history
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
- Conduct screenings
- Assist patients with oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active Texas registered dental hygienist certification required to start
- New grads welcome to apply!
- Prefer 1 year experience as a practicing Dental Hygienist in a busy private practice setting
- Knowledge in perio preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
