Responsibilities
- Screening patients during check-ups
- Must be competent with perio and patient education
- Reviewing the patient's history
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Instructing patients in oral hygiene techniques and working with patients and their oral hygiene
- Conduct screenings
- Assist patients with oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active Texas Hygienist license
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
