About the Position:
This is a part-time role with a schedule of:
- Every Wednesday: 7:00am - 4:30 PM
- Every other Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm
- Last Thursday of each month: 7:00am - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist at Wesley Dentistry, you will be responsible for:
- Built strong relationships with patients to ensure a comfortable and positive experience
- Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
- Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and working with them to improve their oral health
- Reviewing patient histories and charting treatment plans
- Administering prophylactic treatments, including scaling and polishing
- Documenting existing restorations and using X-ray technology as needed
- Supporting the dentist with procedures as required
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Tennessee
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintained annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
- A minimum of 1 year of RDH clinical experience
- Knowledge of perio health and comfort with patient education and gum therapy
- Experience with dental practice software
