This position will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of credentialing applications, renewals, licensure expirations, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operations of the credentialing function, including processing new and established provider applications, detailed review of documents, and data processing.
- Create and maintain detailed reports of credentialing status and process.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies, time delays and all other issues that could adversely impact the ability to effectively credential and onboard providers.
- Complete required follow-up with appropriate payers and insurance companies.
- Track license expirations to confirm timely renewals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with practices, business partners, and providers
- Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects, as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to commute to the Plano, TX office Monday - Thursday weekly. Fridays are remote.
- Ability to maintain a full-time employment schedule of approximately 40 hours per week; extended hours may be requested or required.
- High School diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent GED required.
- Two (2) years of payer provider credentialing experience required.
- One (1) year minimum customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other relevant business systems required.
