We are seeking a new Hygiene Coordinator to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals!

Responsibilities
- Arranging and confirming hygiene patients, ensuring patients arrive for scheduled visits, and working to fill the hygiene schedule for future appointments as well as last minute cancellations.
- Greet all patients and answering office phones.
- Updating and confirming patient personal and insurance information is correct
- Keeping hygiene schedules full and productive for hygienists
- Manage a wait list of patients needing specific days and times
- Additional duties as specified
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a dental front office is a must. Experience with dental insurance confirmation a plus.
- PracticeWorks Dental Software knowledge preferred
- Email proficient and ability to use technology such as patient texting apps and basic computer literacy.
- Active listening and communication skills, multi-tasking and the ability to work through scheduling challenges.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, practice team members and business support staff
