Industrial Painter and General Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Industrial Painter/General Laborer to join our team. This individual performs all painting duties including surface prepping, masking, and various painting techniques. Also assists in general labor duties as instructed by supervisor. This position requires a strong work ethic and attention to work instructions, and will require use of painting equipment, shop equipment, and hand and power tools.

Duties

1. Performs industrial painting duties in a productive manner to include:

• preparing paint by mixing components accurately
• preparing surfaces before painting
• applying specified coatings of paint

2. Utilizes conventional and high-volume, low-pressure spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes and other related equipment.

3. Applies technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure acceptable

application.

4. Reports to management when the work is completed and/or if there are problems/discrepancies with the jobs or equipment.

5. Maintains paint inventory, disposes of residual materials appropriately,

and keeps work area in a clean and organized manner.

6. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.

7. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent. Prior warehouse/manufacturing/painting or work-related experience helpful.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
