What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Star Furniture?
Star Furniture is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Associate . This individual will help with daily operations at our Bridgeport, WV warehouse. Candidates should be self-motivated, hardworking, and team oriented.
Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30.
$15 hour.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lift, pull, and/or push upwards of 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift.
- Ability to work in various warehouse and weather conditions.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Show care and concern for work output.
- Ability to learn new skills and take instruction.
- Ability to navigate forward and backward.
- Ability to work independently, while also being a strong “team player.”
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Move furniture. Unload incoming delivery trucks.
- Processes and organizes incoming merchandise to be inventoried.
- Scan and place incoming inventory on stock shelves.
- Assists in pulling merchandise for the next day’s deliveries.
- Opens/unwraps merchandise that has been pulled for delivery.
- Assembles merchandise to be delivered.
- Ensures that merchandise is defect free.
- Reports defected merchandise to the Service Technician for repairs.
- Organizes merchandise on the loading docks according to delivery order.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Assists customers with merchandise pickups.
- Performs duties in an appropriate and safe manner at all times.
- Adheres to The Companies Safety Policy.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
