Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and leadership skills to oversee and coordinate nursing staff activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff
- Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Handle administrative tasks related to nursing operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks and proficiency in medical software applications
- Familiarity with ICU, DRG, coding, and specimen collection processing
- Experience working with people with disabilities and neonatal ventilators is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
