The Production Assembly Technician is a critical member of our team, responsible for assembling parts into finished commercial foodservice equipment. Key responsibilities include:
• Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Utilize engineering drawings and specifications to determine material, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Correct Use of Handheld Tools: Safely operate handheld tools, pneumatic tools, and assembly fixtures to assemble components.
• Electrical Component Installation: Read and interpret wiring diagrams to correctly wire electrical components.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks and appearance checks of material and finished goods to ensure high-quality products.
• Collaboration and Adaptability: Willingness to cross-train in other assembly areas when necessary to meet changing customer demand and work effectively with others in a team environment.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proficient reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, and bills of material.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 50LB, bend, stoop, twist, walk, and stand for extended periods.
