Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant / Busser to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the waitstaff and ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked. The ideal candidate will be efficient, have a positive attitude, and be committed to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polish Silverware: Ensure all silverware is clean, polished, and ready for use.
- Restock Supplies: Replenish plates, napkins, and other dining essentials in designated areas.
- Clear Tables: Remove used dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables promptly and efficiently.
- Clean Tables: Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces between seatings.
- Assist Servers: Support waitstaff by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area, service stations, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Refill Stations: Ensure that condiment stations, beverage stations, and restrooms are fully stocked and clean.
- Customer Assistance: Respond to guest requests and provide friendly, courteous service.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organizational skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds.
