About the Role:
We are looking for an Expo/Food Runner to join our team at Star Leaf - Asian Cuisine in Pasadena, CA. As an Expo/Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are delivered to our guests in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the high quality standards that Star Leaf is known for.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all orders are accurately prepared and delivered to the correct table
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining area
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth food delivery
- Assist in restocking and replenishing inventory as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Food handler's card or willingness to obtain one
