- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of five years of experience in U.S.-based logistics or brokerage management, with at least three years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. transportation regulations, freight handling, and logistics operations
- Proven experience in budget management, financial oversight, and cost control
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both clients and team members
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
What you’ll do:
- Oversee daily operations related to U.S. domestic freight, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and delivered on time
- Manage and develop a team of logistics coordinators, brokers, and operations staff by providing leadership, training, and ongoing support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure high levels of service and client satisfaction
- Create and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control strategies to maximize profitability
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the client base and increase revenue through logistics and brokerage services
- Ensure all operations comply with U.S. transportation regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define short- and long-term strategies for business growth, operational efficiency, and customer service improvement
- Utilize logistics and tracking software to manage shipments, streamline operations, and enhance communication with clients
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, financial outcomes, and customer satisfaction while using data insights to drive improvements
