Role Overview
As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be essential in meeting customers’ needs, responding to inquiries promptly, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Your focus will be on building strong, long-term client relationships through excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
- Client Relationships: Develop and nurture positive relationships with clients.
- Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact, addressing individual customer needs.
- Business Development: Generate new business through existing and potential networks.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts, providing timely solutions to customers.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed reports on account statuses and transactions.
- Sales Targeting: Set and track sales targets aligned with company objectives.
- Sales Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales metrics, including quarterly results and forecasts.
- Performance Improvement: Suggest strategies to enhance sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $40,000 per year
- Commission: 2%
Qualifications
- Proven track record in customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
- Sales experience, preferably in outside sales roles.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
