Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance Technician (Weekend Availability)

Position Summary:
The Part-Time Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of the Hilton Garden Inn's facilities. This role focuses on addressing guest and operational maintenance needs during weekends to ensure a seamless and comfortable stay for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid potential breakdowns or hazards.
- Inspect and maintain property equipment, including elevators, fire alarms, and appliances.

Guest Service Support:
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues reported by guests or staff.
- Ensure quick resolution of guest-facing concerns, minimizing disruptions to their experience.

Property Inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, including rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Identify, report, and address safety hazards and repair needs.

Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and company safety regulations and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely support for operational needs.
- Communicate effectively with management about maintenance updates or issues requiring further action.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous maintenance experience in a hospitality setting (preferred).
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work weekends, including holidays if needed. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, outdoors, and at heights.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
