Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapy Technician to join our growing healthcare team at our Cypress location. In this role, you will provide essential support to licensed therapists while ensuring exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe, organized therapeutic environment.
- Assist therapists in delivering prescribed treatment plans and therapeutic exercises
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Prep patient tables and ensure proper sanitization protocols
- Apply therapeutic modalities, including hot/cold packs and ultrasound, under therapist supervision
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Guide patients through basic exercise routines as directed by therapists
- Maintain an accurate inventory of therapy supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and medical scheduling systems
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Demonstrated empathy and patience when working with patients
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to work collaboratively
- Bilingul is a plus
