Position Overview:

As our Lead Service Tech, you will play a pivotal role in providing our client base with quality service solutions for residential and light commercial air conditioning systems. This role is perfect for a motivated professional who has a desire to provide our community with excellent HVAC services and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their comfort and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and refrigeration problems with air conditioning and heating systems with minimal assistance.
• Layout, design, and install low voltage wiring.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and possibly repair air flow problems.
• Perform maintenance and precision tune-ups on air conditioning and heating systems.
• Correctly charge equipment based on super heat, sub cool, and refrigerant charging charts.
• Sell system components needed by customers to improve the operation and efficiency of equipment.
• Sell and explain the benefits of maintenance contracts to customers.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
• Establish rapport with customers through active listening and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• HVAC experience in maintenance and/or service including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC system issues.
• EPA Certification
• Experience with inverter & communicating systems
• Light commercial experience is preferred
• Clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectation
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on air handlers, condensers, and compressors
• Build client relationships by providing outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills
• Educate clients on their systems and maintenance requirements
• Identify opportunities for clients to improve their systems through product overview
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, and/or records
• Complete all tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards
• Experience using field software on tablet or similar applications is a plus
