Our customers include some of the largest event and concert venues in the northern California. Imagine sports, music festivals, county fairs, and even outdoor weddings - you will have the chance to provide event planning services to these customers and ensure an exceptional customer experience during the event.

A Day in the Life

The STAR team has an immediate opening for a full time Event Sales Coordinator. We're looking for a candidate that will help maintain an established customer base. This position requires weekend hours and is based on a 40-hour work week with overtime.

• Follow-up with existing customers to ensure all expectations are met.
• Be willing to travel to customer locations and job sites.
• Have excellent communication with customers via phone & email.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and the products and services offered by STAR Sanitation & Site Services, LLC.
• Must be willing to work in an office setting and perform administrative tasks associated with other duties, such as accounts receivable tasks.
• Most events are Thurs-Tues so the ideal candidate must be willing to be reachable & respond to customers' demands during these times. Weekend hours are a must!

• Highly organized & detail orientated
• Exceptional customer service skills
• An understanding of our operational side of the business. (Training provided)
• This position will help with servicing portable toilets, cleaning, adding toilet paper, etc....
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and social media
• Proven time management
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• 2-3 years’ special event experience.
