Star Service, the leading provider of HVAC solutions, specializing in design, installation, and maintenance services, is looking for an Install & Commissioning Technician to join our Projects Team!
As an Install & Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, startup, and commissioning of HVAC systems for our Projects Team. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure quality installations that meet our high standards and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with project managers and field teams to complete projects on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on newly installed systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation and commissioning activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, commissioning, or service.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- EPA Certification (Universal preferred).
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
