Job Summary: Subscriber Retention Marketing Coordinator
The Minnesota Star Tribune has a rare opening on our Consumer Growth Marketing team for a detail-oriented Subscriber Retention Marketing Coordinator to execute customer retention strategies through email marketing, paid social media campaigns, on-site marketing and other data-driven initiatives.
As a Subscriber Retention Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and strengthening relationships with our existing customers through targeted marketing campaigns. You'll work closely with our strategy, design and production teams to execute engaging content that drives customer loyalty and lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, product updates, and promotional communications.
- Manage paid social media campaigns to re-engage existing customers.
- Create customer segmentation and targeting strategies to ensure relevant, personalized communications.
- Produce targeted on-site promotional campaigns.
- Maintain and optimize automated marketing workflows and customer journey maps.
- Execute tests across all marketing channels to optimize campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign performance and create detailed reports on key metrics including customer retention rate, engagement, and ROI.
- Review customer behavior data to identify trends and opportunities for improved subscriber retention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and marketing analytics tools.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and social media advertising tools a plus.

Salary/Wage Range
$24.00 - $25.00 / hour
Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
