SUMMARY
In conjunction with the mission, vision and values of the Star Valley Health this position is crucial in the receiving, stocking, issuing and shipping of materials, supplies and equipment needed by the facility. Daily duties include but are not limited to: inventory management; packaging and shipping (overnight and local); computer entry of inventory and shipment data; managing invoices for claims and credits; equipment monitoring and stocking of departments. This is an at-will position.
JOB DUTIES
- Takes inventory and examines materials, supplies and equipment to identify items to be reordered or replenished
- Unpacks shipments; inspects items for damage or defects; verifies accuracy of shipments
- against purchase orders; makes required corrections
- Fills requisitions and keeps departments stocked with supplies to perform daily duties
- Conduct daily and annual inventories
- Aid with the monthly outdates and product recalls
- General inventory data entry
- Strong customer service skills to interact with both internal and external customers
- Interact with vendors to place orders, track shipments and replace damaged items
- Assists in communicating purchasing procedures to departments, assists departments in initiating requisitions and orders
- Attend assigned training, department and committee meetings
- Other duties as needs arise

- Able to lift thirty (30) pounds on a regular basis
- Constant sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending and reaching with periodical standing throughout the work day
- Able to lift fifty (50) plus pounds occasionally
Experience & Education:
- Strong work ethic
- Computer literate; basic MS Office (MS Excel), Internet, email
- 10-key by touch
- 1 years inventory tracking experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Working under time constraints to ensure proper supply levels are stocked and accounted for
