Job Overview:
As a Customer Service / Client Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction with our services. You will play a key role in fostering positive relationships with our clients and helping them understand our waste management and recycling services. This position does require weekend availability when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional and timely manner.
- Issue Resolution: Respond to customer complaints or concerns regarding missed pick-ups, billing discrepancies, or service issues, and resolve them promptly.
- Service Information: Provide clear and accurate information about waste and recycling services, including schedules, guidelines, and pricing.
- Account Management: Assist customers with account-related tasks, such as setting up new services, updating account details, and processing service cancellations or changes.
- Education and Guidance: Educate customers about recycling best practices, waste diversion programs, and the importance of sustainability.
- Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions and service requests in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with field teams (e.g., drivers and operation teams) to ensure service accuracy and smooth communication between departments.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to service delivery or customer communication processes.
- Customer Retention: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage continued service, promoting customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced or service-oriented environment. Experience in waste management or recycling industries is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm and resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately record customer information and service requests.
- Team Player: Collaborative and works well with others to achieve company goals.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks and customer inquiries simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment and open to learning new processes.
