What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor position at Starboard Hotel Management LLC?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay
Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
Verify that all EOD work has been performed by other departments
Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day
Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed
Answer phones
Follow all cash handling and credit policies
Verify and submit credit card batches
Perform night audit according to the checklist
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication skills
2 years' experience in customer service or hospitality
Able to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask
Solid customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must speak, read, write and understand English.
Hotel experience preferred.
Basic math or accounting skills
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
